Review: Behind Her Eyes

Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough

Clues to describe this book: Toxic relationships, Infidelity, Obsession, Lucid Dreaming

Review: Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough is a suspenseful psychological thriller. Louise, a single mother who works as a receptionist at a doctor’s office, meets a man at a bar who she becomes interested in. But the next day, she realizes the man from the bar ends up being her new boss who is a psychiatrist. As she develops feelings for him, she also befriends his wife, Adele. She quickly realizes that their marriage isn’t normal and when it’s too late, she realizes she caught in their web of lies and secrets. Overall, this compulsive read was not a let down. I loved that there were multiple narrators – Louisa, Adele, and third person. Adele was my favorite character. She was so eloquently written. The plot was intriguing and the ending is definitely a WTF moment. The aspects of lucid dreaming were interesting to learn in this novel. I would highly recommend this novel if you are a fan of psychological thrillers or novels that contain toxic relationships and infidelity.
