Review: Let me start off by saying that I typically don’t read poetry books, but I decided to give Milk and Honey a try based on the great reviews I heard. This is Rupi’s first debut book. Milk and Honey is a poetry collection where Rupi takes us on her personal journey of love, loss, and healing. Every word resonates with you and her overall poetry impacts you in a way that you can feel the raw emotion she expresses and touches your heart. Overall, this book was heart wrenchingly beautiful. This is especially a great to read when you are going through a heartbreak and need reassurance that everything is okay and that you will move forward.
